RHA Annual Art Exhibition

STILL SOME SPACES

Excursion to TICKNOCK and the RHA Annual Art Exhibition

Saturday 13th July 2024.

Leader Bill Sheppard

Following the success of last year’s IGA visit to the Annual Exhibition of the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA), Ely Place, Dublin, Bill Sheppard will again lead you through the Exhibition this year.  This is a great opportunity to review the current works of leading Irish artists and to seek out a geological spin within the works on show. Artist-members are particularly welcome and non-member artists are urged to express an interest in the event.

This year the event is expanded into a full day excursion.  The group will meet at Ticknock Wood, south of Dundrum, Co.Dublin to view the landscape and exchange perceptions and information within the realms of Geology in Art, Geologically Perceived Landscape and Landscape Art.  In the afternoon the group will visit the RHA exhibition.
