Diamond exploration W. Africa.
University again, MSc.
GSI 30 years
Joined IGA.
Diverse Dalradian studies with much field work.
Uranium projects.
European Science Committee for Ocean Drilling Program.
Diamond; tungsten; marble studies.
Miscellaneous geological work; addressing problems; conferences; international projects; reading; thinking; writing; talking.
2003 expelled from GSI for being too old (government policy).
Designated ‘Scientific Visitor’ at GSI and still have office there.
Time: 6.30pm with Tea/coffee from 5.30pm
Venue: Geological Survey Ireland, Beggar's Bush, Haddington road, Ballsbridge.
